What Temp Should a Ryzen 9 5900X Run at?

To maintain the processor’s working temperature below 90 degrees Celsius, a strong CPU cooler is required. If your CPU cooler doesn’t reach 90°C when under stress or severe loads, you can continue using it. A second fan can aid and will increase airflow inside your PC case.

The overall resistance in the loop and the pump power (which is often the same across models of the same type) affect flow rate (highly variable and unique). The XC7 is average in that sense even though CPU blocks are frequently the most constricting. It will depend on the specific model because radiators differ, but even in the worst situation, every D5 pump can manage two radiators, CPU and GPU blocks, and certain twists and turns. The only time performance can start to suffer is when very restrictive radiators are combined with moderately restrictive blocks.
